I've Been Gone for a Minute!!

Whew, y’all. Let me tell you... I’ve been gone for a minute, but baby, I haven’t been idle. Between soul work, creative fire, and business strategy? Life’s been lifing—in the most divine, divinely disruptive way.

📚 The Pen Ain’t Sleepin’: The Banned Book Series Is BURNING

Let’s start with the literary heat. Since August, I’ve been deep in my creative bag building out The Banned Book Series—a rebellious, soul-stirring, art-soaked collection of historical fiction featuring Black protagonists who refuse to stay silent in eras that tried to erase them.

I completed 15 chapters of The Fire Beneath the Ink, starring the poet Lena McDaniels in 1920s Harlem, and I’m now working on Act Three. I also expanded my Renaissance-world masterpiece, The Gilded Veil, with Aurelia Bellini still snatching wigs with a paintbrush in Florence.

But I didn’t stop there. I started writing TWO more books—Midnight Notes (starring a pianist named Esther navigating Harlem’s elite scene) and The Shadow on the Canvas (featuring Alessandro di Sodano in 1492 Florence, where art meets secrets and betrayal).

And yes, I’ve got collector’s editions, secret content pages, password-protected walkthroughs, and AI-generated galleries in the works. Because if I’m going to write revolutions? I’m going to build entire worlds around them.

🛠️ Empire Building Ain’t for the Faint: From Designs to Digital Drops

Let’s talk business. Since July, I’ve been building out new branches of my entrepreneurial empire:

• pRose &nd Ink took center stage as my indie publishing house. I’ve developed contracts, email funnels, launch strategies, and branded content, all while working on quizzes like “Which Banned Book Babe Are You?” and mapping out full media kits, press releases, and Sora-style promo videos.

• Bina Banks Designs didn’t sleep either. I’m releasing the BAye Signature Tools bundles, launching with the Spirit-Led Productivity Bundle and a spiritual wedding planner toolkit (Plan With Love).

• I officially announced the retirement of The BAye Hive Boutique, clearing out inventory with style via a mystery box farewell sale. Sis went out with a bang, not a whimper.

🎨 Pixel & Purpose: AI Imagery, Dolls, and Design Play

I’ve been flexing my graphic design muscles and pushing boundaries in AI art. We created:

• A hyper-realistic Bratz and Barbie version of me (because, why not?)

• Toy box renderings with locs, laptops, sketchbooks, and puppies.

• Action figure packaging that screams “CEO meets creative genius.”

• Visual branding for everything from The Gilded Veil to Club Alphalettes’ anniversary.

Every pixel has been dipped with purpose.

💜 Legacy, Sisterhood, and Service

As the Advisor of The Sapphire Auxiliary, I’ve been reworking its intake and education process, from governance to graphics to quizzes. We’re laying the foundation for a legacy organization that uplifts women who serve alongside our military and community.

This work includes the Yearling education manual, virtual class structure, induction speeches, and merchandise dripping with symbolism—zebras, sapphires, and the spirit of community.

🎤 And Did I Mention the Mic Is Still On?

The Anomalous Black Women Podcast is still in full swing, and so is my voice. Whether I’m breaking down the politics of identity or laughing with my co-hosts Tasha and Dr. Tonya, I’m staying rooted in truth, creativity, and connection.

Truth is—I’ve been in a sacred hustle. Not just building businesses, but building myself. I’m not just writing books. I’m writing liberation. I’m not just coaching. I’m co-creating transformation.
