There are moments when the world is just too loud.
When the buzz of notifications, deadlines, chronic pain, and soul-tiredness swirl together into a fog you can’t quite shake. I know that space too well. And I also know the medicine that music can be, especially when it’s wrapped in the lush, slow-blooming beauty of R&B.
Welcome to Soul Stillness, my hand-curated R&B meditation playlist designed to soften the edges of your day and bring you back to yourself.
Why R&B for Meditation?
Most folks think meditation music needs to sound like waterfalls and wind chimes, and hey, those have their place. But for Black women healing, I’ve found that soulful voices, sacred grooves, and intentional lyrics hit differently. These are the hymns of our healing. The lullabies of our lineage. The ballads of our breath.
R&B grounds us in rhythm. It reminds us to breathe with intention, feel with permission, and rest without guilt.

💚 Final Words from My Heart
This playlist is more than sound. It’s a soft place to land.
A reminder that peace is not a luxury—it’s a birthright.
That your emotions are sacred. That your stillness is holy.
Put your phone on Do Not Disturb. Let these melodies hold you.
And if you love it, share it with a sister who needs a gentle pause, too.
Because we don’t just heal alone—we heal in harmony.
With rhythm, rest, and reverence—
Love, Bina
