As you all may (or may not) know, Solange Knowles wed Alan Ferguson this past weekend. I decided to wait a bit to peruse different blogs, sites and chats to get everyone's take on these nuptials.
*record scratch* Okay, enough with me trying to be all professional. When I tell y'all she slayed! BABY!! That wedding was EVERYTHING! LOL! If you know me, then you know that I love uniqueness. I love when people are UNAPOLOGETICALLY themselves! That's just so refreshing to me. Anywho, this wedding was so unique and they just looked like GODS & GODDESSES. It is my opine (everyone has them) that if you didn't like this wedding, you're just CRAZY! LOL! Seriously though, this was just AWESOME. They looked so regal and elegant. Solange (and her wedding party) broke the internet with style and grace. And can I just add that she had Janelle Monae in her wedding party! Aaaahhhhhhh!! I love her! Again I say, SLAYED!!
Okay another topic that I want to address is the fact that I ABHOR that the media referred to her as Beyonce's little sister or that they TRIED to make this be about Beyonce'. Now don't get me wrong, I love Beyonce. HOWEVER, I LOVE Solange more! Let her have her time to shine. Let this be her day. Anyone else feel me on this?

The happy couple said “I do” at the Marigny Opera House in New Orleans. Around 2 p.m., the pair arrived via white-painted vintage bicycles, and it was all about the details: The bride’s basket held flowers! (via Time.com)
