B. Ayesha: What is your name?
Donise: My name is Donise Anderson

B. Ayesha: What is the name of your business?
Donise: My business name is The Nisey Lenel Collection. Which is my brand of cosmetics and clothing. I own a boutique as well called S&E Boutique 325 High st. Portsmouth,VA

B. Ayesha: How long have you been in business (anniversary)?
Donise: I have been in business for 5yrs. But into fashion for about 10yrs.

B. Ayesha: What are the biggest issues for running your business?
Donise: The biggest issue is first being accepted as being the new face in a big industry. You know you have to push hard because once people see you doing you everyone feels they can do you to or better. Plus just dealing in the area where I'm from sometimes people want to see you do good but not better than them, you know you shop at Macy's etc. but at times find it hard to support your own.

B. Ayesha: How did you get started in this business?
Donise: Well I have always loved fashion and being different from others. So I begin styling people as well as setting up and running the store I worked at. I pride myself on having your own identity and that is what Nisey Lenel represents. From clothing to make up!! So this kinda came natural to me since way back when, I've just finally by the grace of GOD came into a position to bring my ideas to life.

B. Ayesha: What is the future for this type of business?
Donise: The future is unlimited!!!

B. Ayesha: Running your own business can become overwhelming at times. What motivates you to keep going?
Donise: My family, never settling, and having a no lose mental state!!

B. Ayesha: What advice would you give other aspiring entrepreneurs?
Monnica: Do you, never let someone dim your shine. Work hard and pray harder. You only owe yourself.
