B. Ayesha's Phenomenal Allies Feature: Shesfabb

Hey Guys & Dolls! I'm back with another week of small business awesomeness! This week's feature is an amazing woman! I love her and she is her brand! She goes so hard for her business and you can tell that she loves what she does. I met her when we both participated in a pop up shop this summer.

So stop what you're doing and check out this week's feature Ms. Monnica Johnson, owner of Shesfabb!

B. Ayesha: What is your name?
Monnica: My name is Monnica Johnson aka Shesfabb

B. Ayesha: How long have you been in business (anniversary)?
Monnica: I started in 2006. (shame) I don't remember the date. I've had a couple business partners chile! Forgive me #imjustbeinghonest

B. Ayesha: What are the biggest issues for running your business?
Monnica: I face indifference in my style. I'm innovative and love originality. I hate to repeat others so once I'm copied, I detour, redirect and become innovative!

B. Ayesha: How did you get started in this business?
Monnica: My mom worked in retail my entire youth and adolescent life so I became consumed with fashion early. I loved Saundra Clark from 227 and Dianna Ross both for their courageousness in fashion and boldness in personality. #Diva This later spilled over into me in deciding I wanted to learn. Once I brought so much all my friends and family members were my guinea pigs! lol I loved the feeling I had even on a bad day makeup made me feel uplifted. It later became my extension between women (old and youth) that needed that feeling too. I love my job! My motto: Stay True Stay You Stay FABB! I DON'T believe in conforming to what others think. It's what feels good to your soul YOLO!

B. Ayesha: What is the future for this type of business?
Monnica:I want to one day open a agency for women to experience fashion; cultivate and nurture them to blossom into the world. I've been told my whole life I'm pretty beautiful. I want all women to find and experience that feeling. I intend to; one face at a time!

B. Ayesha: What advice would you give other aspiring entrepreneurs?
Monnica: Stay inspired! Keep encouragement from your element (i.e. blogs mags) whatever associates your passion!
