B. Ayesha: What is your name?

Tangi: Tangi C. Smith

B. Ayesha: What is the name of your business?

Tangi: Kute Katchy Klassy Accessory Boutique

B. Ayesha: How long have you been in business (anniversary)?

Tangi: 3 years Jan 18, 2012

B. Ayesha: How did you get started in this business?

Tangi: Started as a hobby making the cross bracelets. I actually used to give them away until I realized how expensive that was.

B. Ayesha: What are the biggest issues for running this type of business?

Tangi: My biggest issue is being active duty Army with a growing business. I know that the Army should be my first priority and for the most part it is however, KKK is my passion (yes, I call my business #KKK)

B. Ayesha: Running your own business can become overwhelming at times. What motivates you to keep going?

Tangi: My motivation is that THIS IS MINE MINE MINE! When I retire I already have something in place, I know I can be as great as I allow myself to be. The only obstacles are the ones I place on myself.

B. Ayesha: What advice would you give other aspiring entrepreneurs?
Tangi: Don’t do it for the money… Do it for the love and/or passion because if you are solely in it for monetary reasons there is a 80% chance you will not be successful.
