B. Ayesha's Phenomenal Allies Feature: Peace, Love & Zen Holistic Wellness Center

Hey Guys & Dolls!! I'm so excited to present this week's feature on B. Ayesha's Phenomenal Allies! I'm a big supporter of small business owners. What better way to show my support but by featuring them and helping to get their name out, right? Here's another week of awesomeness!

I'm pleased to introduce to you Susan Coe, Founder of Peace, Love & Zen Holistic Wellness Center!

B. Ayesha: What is your name?
Susan: Susan Coe

B. Ayesha: What is the name of your business?
SusanPeace, Love & Zen Holistic Wellness Center

B. Ayesha: How long have you been in business (anniversary)?
Susan: I’ve been in this business since 9/7/2013

B. Ayesha: How did you get started in this business?
Susan: This business has been a natural progression and part of my journey in life. I currently own
a bar that does live music and my path has taken my on a more spiritual journey and I started
embracing holistic wellness. I had been open to starting something new for a few years prior to
opening Peace, Love & Zen but was not sure what it would be.

B. Ayesha: What are the biggest issues for running this type of business?
Susan:  My biggest challenge with my business currently is marketing as I am in an area of
Pittsburgh that is undergoing revitalization and the neighborhood is not quite there yet.
Therefore we are currently a destination spot. Another challenge is educating people on the
importance of maintaining wellness and the benefits of the therapies we offer.

B. Ayesha: Running your own business can become overwhelming at times. What motivates you to keep going?
Susan: I believe in what I am doing and feel I offer a valuable service to people.

B. Ayesha: What is the future for this type of business?
Susan: I think there is a bright future for this type of business as people continue to grow tired of
being fed pharmaceuticals and the problems never go away. They are looking for alternatives. I
wish they would come to us first…..someday

B. Ayesha: What advice would you give other aspiring entrepreneurs?
Susan: Be prepared to put in the work without pay. It’s a journey and takes time to build a
successful business.
