Black Women Speak

Hey BAye Hive Tribe!

What it do? I hope my post from Monday helped with the stress we're all enduring in the world. 

Professor Poised (Natasha Smith - BAye Hive Blog Contributor) and I decided months ago that we were going to start a podcast. Who knew that the month we chose to launch, literal shit would hit the fan. 

With all that's going on, we premiered our intro episode on June 1st, 2020 (listen here). Overall it's going great! We've had very positive feedback. 

So let me tell you about the Anomalous Black Women (ABW) Podcast. 

ABW strives to use its platform to celebrate uniqueness and support creative thoughts and deeds – and in doing so, highlight those already operating anomalously. We strive to bring those seeking to illuminate their true selves to do the same. Through positive and constructive discussions, we hope to eliminate any self-doubt that many allow to plague their life's journey. 

Whoo! That's a lot, right? Well, as Black Women, we felt the need to create a platform for other black women to be able to speak their truth and to trust their dopeness. I'm sure there will be some who have something to say about the niche we chose, but who better to speak about and to Black women but BLACK WOMEN.

We have a special episode dropping this morning. Our regular schedule is every other Monday but we had to do a special one considering the current climate. It will be Part 1 of an ongoing conversation. You can click here to listen.

So that the gist of what I wanted to let you know about our desire to give Black Women a platform to speak.
