People always talk about soulmates... Even I have thought at one time that there is a person out there just for me... but if that's true and you've missed your soulmate... does that mean that you'll never be happy? Soulmates: reality? or torture device?
There are no soulmates, it was just some bullshit made up to give people hope... LOL! Yeah I said it! Stop searching for your soulmate and be happy with the person that makes you happy right now. You'll stay alone if you're waiting on that soulmate we've heard so much about. Happiness is liking what you have not hoping for something you don't have and don't know if you'll ever have... s/n tomorrow I might feel differently LOL! Pessimism is kicking my ass today though...
Agreed! I have been torn with this as well. However, today I feel that life is what u make of it and so is relationships. Luther said it best, " If you can't be, with the one you love, LOVE THE ONE YOU WITH " Now many would think that is settling, but as a woman, I feel there is deeper meaning to this. We are to appreciate what we have and who we are with cause life is too short for us to be unhappy. If you find a person to whom you can find happiness with - you have won. We and our souls were born alone, and its about finding a kindred spirit with whom we can get along with and enjoy life with.
